EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and is a research based therapeutic technique proven to be very effective in treating many issues such as trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, abuse and other emotional, relational, or mental difficulties.   EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, or right-left eye movements, to aid in reprocessing traumatic or difficult memories, related to shame, fear, anger, hurt, abuse, or pain.

As a trained EMDR practitioner, Judith uses these techniques when applicable, coupled with traditional talk therapy methods, to help provide hope and healing for clients who may find other therapeutic methods less effective.  EMDR is proven to be safe, short-term, and can be profoundly effective in providing healing from past painful experiences and restoring a more whole, and healthy sense of self.
